I remember seeing Susan Boyles big break too. Someone had shared it on Facebook.
Though Nightbird had a nice voice, her lyrics were inspirational, and her attitude priceless. She said at one point during the video interview, I want people to know that I'm much bigger than the bad stuff I'm going through. She said that as she had breast cancer metastases to her brain, her liver and I believe her spine with a 2% chance of survival. She sang with joy anyway.
I hope I retain her message as long as I'm here - "we get to choose what defines us."
I have only seen YouTube videos, but I also remember Susan Boyle's. I only listen to music in my car, the same recycled play list 🤣
