My husband bought one, and I named it "Karen."

It was the most savage thing I've ever accomplished. 😂

He is addicted to his Garmin, but uses it anc GPS to find the best route. Both he and my dad obsess over GPS; I figure we're going the right way and we'll get there anyway.

We used to argue when we were first married about the right path; we solved the argument by trying both approaches and timing them. I've since given up; I know when I'm beat. 🤷

He was one of the first people to get GPS (on his flip phone of all things! 😂) but I avoid technology as much as possible. Lol

Thanks Joelle,

I wore a smile as I read your comment. And I thought we had issues with our GPS. You all are grabbin for the gusto. Maybe it's because we don't get out much, but I now appreciate that we haven't been battling with our GPS of late. Just like people, after a while, we learn to work around their quirks and hopefully vice versa. BTW - I'm certainly technology averse as well.

I just wrote a long comment and it disappeared ! Technology is great when it works!

Well, that really stinks Alyssa but thanks for trying.

Were you referring to the GPS or the Substack interface when you said - "Technology is great when it works?" I guess BOTH would be the correct answer

Mark, savor even more: on YouTube type in “Portia’s speech, the quality of mercy”. I should make it part of my daily practice.
