I’m glad your long experience reassures you that you had bad luck, not an incompetent surgeon. One of my favorite quotes is from Bruce Cockburn: “Everybody loves to see Justice done—to somebody else.”

In regard to Emily's comment - Unfortunately, our entire justice system is terribly lopsided in favor of those with wealth and power. Only when we elect people of strong character instead of strong - monied election campaigns, will we see things change. When we see people fact-checking political ads against their political opponents, we might see people electing leaders with the best qualities instead of the best BS, alternative "fact" - generating machines. In the meantime, it would be healthier to really try to diss the systems versus the millions of law-abiding opportunists taking advantage of the corrupt systems. And in the meantime we should do everything we can do to bring equal justice under the law. Many of these issues are the subject of recently released books - but again many of them are based on unsubstantiated mis-information. Thank you for your input Emily.

When will justice roll down on D. Trump, traitor, crook, rapist and generally despicable human being? Sometimes, when our justice system lets billionaires get away with unspeakable crimes, we have to wait for the justice of Karma to play out. Maybe not in this lifetime, but it will happen.
