How do I as a garden-variety Joe, write with any clarity about a young woman who seemed so angelic? I met Regina when she was in her late twenties. She was a completely blind quadriplegic with no muscle function below her neck. And yet she seemed clearly grateful to be alive. I could never have hoped to cross paths with such an extraordinary human being.
Thank you so much Susan. I'm so glad that my experience with Regina brought you comfort.
You have no idea how helpful your closing comment was. I've been unable to get beyond the same sixty subscribers for two months, sometimes a couple more sometimes a couple less. I talked to my wife just last night about the apparent lack of interest in what I write about and that maybe it's time to put my pen down.
To be clear, I sincerely appreciate every single one of my faithful subscribers and those that read my posts, but it takes energy to dig deeply and write. That energy is returned to me and amplified every time someone challenges me, comments, or I get a new subscriber. Those two things are CONCRETE reminders that my efforts have value, and that I'm not spending hours and hours typing into an enormous void. Thanks again.
Just writing a comment taxes me, so I can only imagine how much energy you pour into your writing here! Never doubt for a moment that at least one person, yours truly, is very appreciative and grateful for your efforts. That being said, I can understand how you would get discouraged at times and think about throwing in the towel. Whatever you decide to do, rest assured that you are a positive energy in this world.
Wonderful testament!
Thank you for using some of your precious time to write this and share it with the world.
Fresh off of reading sad news this morning, reading about Regina was wonderful.
Never question the value of what you are doing here, Mark.

Hi again Susan,

Oh Mark!

You are a very kind soul. Thank you and I will try to keep all of the above in mind.
