Each one of us got to wake up this morning, at some
specific point, on the ride of our lives. We're hurtling
through space at some 67,000 miles an hour, riding a
spectacular blue and green planet and unlike any other,
it is teaming with life. To make matters even more
intriguing, none of us knows when his or her trip will
end. . .
That is a huge concept to wrap one’s heads around.
While you’re all pondering, and I’m working on my first post,
PLEASE READ “ABOUT ME” which is new and improved
Thank you for checking out my new blog - Under the uppermost "Mark's Substack" Header, SHOULD
be subtitles "Home, Archive, and ABOUT" - Please check out the latter - It is my Profile and

Comments are always welcome. Tx again, Mark
Rats I tried! I wanted to read if you can’t sing, harmonize! I love that concept, and agree.
I just found the piece about us waking and being on earth in the universe, and wondered if you purposely spaced it like that? I’m guessing yes, as poetry. But I still wanted to hear your take on the harmony thing. I mean it’s literally true. Gail isn’t monotone. But her range is less than an octave. So when she’s lucky, and knows the song, if she can’t sing in unison, she’ll unknowingly be singing along in harmony, which I love. Now I know your blog will be rife w meaning and symbolism beyond my literal take, but I just wanted to share that tidbit w you about it. Your title implies wonderful meaning and metaphor, but as I ‘splained, it’s literally true too. -CL
